Hi all,

I'm a FF newbie, although I do have a fair amount of points to use - which is the whole reason I'm here:D

Vital stats:

- QFF 610,000
- Amex 756,000
- Virgin 114,000

I really need some suggestions to use these points so feel free to give me your thoughts!

Cheers

Welcome to AFF matc!

I am sure you will get plenty of suggestions in the thread you started. Good luck with the planning.

Welcome matc.

I think the universal advice you will get, at least in respect of QF, is to go for overseas travel in J (or F); don't waste the points in economy or domestic.

QF Any Seat Awards (xASA) in J are also well thought of. Lots of threads regarding those - read the 'sticky'.

What status are you in the VA and QF programs? This usually colours advice given.

Welcome aboard matc, since you started a second thread here I'm sure people will post there about some good ideas.

In the meantime little brother you can transfer 100,000 points to me and then I'll help you buy me some JASAs.

I wouldn't say universal advice. Some people actually think Oneworld awards in economy are great value.

Agree about domestic redemptions.

I think he should give those to his favourite cousin ;-)
