A newby hopefully geting to grips with the opportunity & know how from the seasoned members!!

Have a trip in the planning - departure, 15 Aug 2014 Syd - Vegas - Honolulu - Syd - 60th birthday party - party of 8 travelling - how would I find the best class, seating, pricing, routing etc? Also planning to get the kids & grand kids to fly to Honolulu about 23 Aug - party of 4 adults & 6 grand kids!!

All assistance & suggestions appreciated!!
