Hi, I am Graeme. I am really shocked at Qantas's cynical profiteering from their FF customers. We have around 600,000 points, but found that we have to pay an EXTRA $1700 in charges for 2 return flights to London. Apparently the way to get around this is via Round the World fares. Has anyone successfully done this using Qantas FF points recently? Apologies for any duplication.

Welcome to AFF. There's nothing unusual about the charges you have stated unfortunately. But there are plenty of ways around these charges as Steady has indicated.
