I am new so this is probably a well known problem. It seems to me that qantas reward flights start disappearing once you’ve logged on a few times. Is there a way round this such as waiting for a time before you try again?

Welcome to AFF.

Flight will definitely disappear if another person snaps them up!

A warm welcome @John Duke .
The best advice if it is an award for thdestination and date you want then get it there and then Don't procrastinate. These days there are lots of people chasing awards especially in premium cabins.
For examp;e I was loking for a J class award for 2 from Austrlia to bangkok. Was initially looking from Sydnet as more airlines operating from there and absolutely nothing.
Got back to the QFF site and searched from BNE instead. Up popped a Jetstar flight in their J 3 days before my ideal date. Got it immediately.
