3 choices in J for afternoon tea yesterday - "Moroccan vegetable soup", pork and cous cous salad, or cheese. I had the cheese and was impressed with the presentation and the quantity offered - more than you get in int J for sure. Also a cake on each tray. I think I'm going to put in for upgrades when I'm next on afternoon flights in Y, just for the food :)

Dinner options on the next flight were herb crusted lamb with roast veg, or smoked salmon. The lamb smelled so good I ordered it even though I wasn't really hungry, and it was delicious.

Yeah I really like the new cheese option in DOM J, a truly positive enhancement :)

flew MEL-SYD on a 737 in J and was offered 3 choices. Went for the smoked salmon and egg and potato salad and was very impressed! Delicious!

I went for the cheese & tomato toast and it was terrible, looked around the cabin (it was on a 767 MEL-SYD) and most of the pax who ordered the toast didn't finish it. Should have gone for the salad :(
It was an op up at the gate for me so I didn't expect to get a meal anyway, but if I would have paid for the ticket I would have been very disappointed with the quality of the food.

Lately and recently all my business flights I have found the meal unpalatable so yes I have noticed a nose dive in quality.

Ps no more snide comments about reasons others cannot afford business.

I had the lamb every week for months and concur that it is delicious.

BNE-MEL the other week was rigatoni with pork ragu or a chicken salad. I was quite happy with the pasta, and the cheesecake dessert.
