We're just deleting them but bAl and I have been bombarded with bid now emails for our flights to and from MEL this weekend. bAl's an award flight, mine revenue red e. At least six each, maybe more, over the last week. Anyone else experiencing QF's desire to get more dollars and points out of them?

Yes, I’m getting heaps (daily for the last week or so) for ZQN-MEL where EF is showing J1 Y0.

Only problem is we have three pax on the PNR, so bidding is pointless.

Yes, me too.

If I wanted to fly in J I'd have booked Virgin, rather than paying hundreds for a questionable upgrade.

Qantas must think we're all brain dead...

If QF really wanted people to treat the emails seriously and reply with offers, all they have to do is offer the SCs for the upgraded cabin, even of the points remain unchanged.
UL changes the booking code when an upgrade bid is accepted, making the "expense" a lot more useful than an improved seat when wandering

Even though that's contrary to the terms and conditions:
The fare conditions for the original Ticket You purchased, including, but not limited to, cancellation policies, change fees, and rules relating to the accrual of frequent flyer miles shall remain unchanged and in effect and will be applicable even if Your Upgrade Offer has been accepted and You have been upgraded.

Ask me in a couple of weeks.... I have a couple of tickets "pending". My previous comment reflected what happened pre-covid.
When I was regularly wandering....
