Hi All,

Staing a the Hilton in Brisbane Wednsday and Thursday night and just have a couple of questions if ayone can assist from experience.

1) I am staying in a Twin Executive, is there a better room for views over the City/River and what is the best floor to pick?
2) Is there a coffee tax at breakfast?

Cheers,

Geoff

Was there on Friday and had 4 rooms booked for a family getaway, low numbered rooms face away from the river we had 1902, 1903, 2302 and 2306 (23 and above executive and give access to the exec lounge) All rooms had nice views. Can't comment on the coffee, drank tea. If you eat in the restaurant, quote your velocity FF details, immediate 20% off (doesn't work in the bar :-( )

No coffee tax there as a Diamond about a month ago.

Does anyone know if there is a sauna or steam room at this property? Thanks in advance.
This is my home town and I have never seen one.

From their website:
For Your Fitness and Recreation Convenience
  • Fitness Room
  • Pool
  • Tennis Court

Thanks very much. Sometimes hotels say pool and don't bother to list sauna. Apparently, there is a gym downstairs who may negotiate a discounted day pass.
