Rather than start a new thread, I've just resurrected an oldie.

H-CNS lounge is now open all day. 6.30am (I think) until 8pm. Also, the old meeting room is going to become a permanent lounge extension. Not a great deal on offer during the day, tea, coffee, water and newspapers, but many will appreciate this change as it gives a quiet and relaxing place to catch up on some work. Anyway, I'm off to Mondos right now, to partake in a couple of glasses of Squealing Pig and watch the Wed. arvo yacht racing!

This is good news especially as I will be there next week.

I have given this suggestion as feedback almost every time I have stayed so I am delighted at this news! Is the lounge staffed through the day or is the door simply open? In my experience there are often guests placed into rooms on the 9th floor but they do not have lounge access so I am curious as to how this works.

Hopefully in time they will add a bit more to the daytime offerings - say soft drinks and fruit.

Lounge door is open all day until 4.30pm when they set up for the evening service. Also exec rooms have a coffee pod machine.

I have to say the service for breakfast was impeccable, not only were we not charged for coffee but we did not even need to ask.About 5 mins into breakfast 2 cups were brought over for my partner and I which was nice as I could not remember if they charged for them or not and did not want to ask. Thankfully staff remembered us from last year.
