Err… no. 20 days, then you’ll almost certainly have to call velocity to follow up. Then it will come through about 24-48 hours after that.

My last match (June last year), came thru in about 2 days. Having the same email address on VFF and HH is essential but even then, some do appear to take longer….

Yeah mine just came through after 3-4 days so the follow up with VV really helped

Very fortunate - they told me in no uncertain terms to call back only after the 20 [business] days had elapsed. That was early last year though, so maybe a change in enforcement.

No, the 20 days between registering through virgin, and HHonors upgrading my status. Velocity to,d me to wait the 20 business days, then they followed it up. HH granted the upgrade within like 48 hours.

Am I trying to be too cheeky. I did have 7 years of HH Diamond and always requalified on stays, nights and base points. I have ~ 800 nights and 1 million base points over my HH time.
I will get VA platinum ~ feb 25. I will go for the diamond match in April 25 hence diamond until March 27. Is it possible that I might get away with asking for a diamond extension then as I meet the other criteria but the current diamond will still be only the status match. I presume not but never hurts asking.

You need an existing HH account before you can claim the status benefit. So go to Hilton and set that up first. Should be easy.

Make sure you use the same email address as VFF.

Then go to VA and activate the match.
