Hilton Double Dip Velocity Points wait time

I had a stay in November at the Doubletree and my Hilton account shows my points in my account plus the double dip points that should be credited to Velocity.

I hadn't seen any velocity points last week so I chased it up with Hilton who said they "refreshed" my account and the points would come through in 24-48 hours.

Still nothing 7 days later.

Any experiences on how long these points take to come through?

Im also still waiting for points to hit from our Dec 23rd to 27th Hilton stay.
 
I'm still waiting, Dec 19-21.

I found a transaction from earlier this year...

16 Jun 16 - 07 Jun 16 ANAHEIM HILTON TOW.
 
Any news on this ? I am still waiting on points from DEC 20. I submitted a missing points claim with VFF but still nothing.
 
You may need to call. Tell them how long it has been since you submitted the mssing points claim.

Also, what does you HHonors account show for the stay?

I emailed them the invoice from DT Hilton and they called me about 2 days later to say they will submit the claim with Hilton.

That was just over 2 weeks ago. Nothing has posted in my account yet.

My Hilton account says how many points I should get from my stay with Velocity.

It's a full time job chasing owned points

462 owing... Yeah it is a pain. Guess I will call them Monday. I must have submitted the online claim back around Jan 5 not sure.
 
I was missing the triple points in my VA account. Got onto Live Chat with Hilton and the points were credited into VA after about a week.
 
I find if you call a lot and ask to speak to a supervisor and basically be a pain in the cough they will fix it a lot faster
 
None of mine have shown up from December 24 to January 10. Will give them two more weeks before I chase.
 
Will be following this thread with interest, as I have two Hilton stays in March and one in April during my upcoming trip to the US, and have opted in for Double Dip.
 
I finally called up Hilton and they are going to have someone investigate the missing points and get back to me. I think I'll double dip to SQ in future.
 
I contacted Hilton, they advised they have done the transfer to Velocity. No points have arrived in my Velocity account.

I made a retro claim with Velocity about 3 weeks ago and they called me to advise they would be contacting Hilton to confirm.

I haven't heard anything back yet

I gave up crediting HHonors to VA when the double (Triple with VA) dip promotions were on.

VA gets 2x in the normal scheme of things and, due to some software error, the "third x" would never post automatically.

I would have to get involved each and every time and generally it was like pulling teeth.

You crediting to SQ now ? Or just all points to Hilton ?
 
I have spoken to both Hilton and VA.

Hilton said talk to VA since we have put the points through. VA said we are checking with Hilton

I never spoke to VA on the phone. VA website says to contact Hilton. When I spoke to Hilton I told them I had already spoken to VA and they directed me to talk to Hilton. I then got transfered to another service department who told me they would investigate it. I guess whatever happens just keep hassling them.

I should also note that when my points came through to VFF they had no description, but they did match the exact amount I was expecting, so watch out for that.

**I think the real message from this thread is that this hilton -> va points crediting is not working.
