I never spoke to VA on the phone. VA website says to contact Hilton. When I spoke to Hilton I told them I had already spoken to VA and they directed me to talk to Hilton. I then got transfered to another service department who told me they would investigate it. I guess whatever happens just keep hassling them.
I should also note that when my points came through to VFF they had no description, but they did match the exact amount I was expecting, so watch out for that.
**I think the real message from this thread is that this hilton -> va points crediting is not working.
