Was just looking my plans for London next year, and saw that a couple of days ago Hilton quietly increased the points required for most upscale properties. I was looking at The Trafalgar but for a 10-night stay it jumped a total of 80,000 points. Other hotels increased too;

Conrad 90,000 per night
Waldorf 85,000
Park Lane 90,000
Trafalgar 95,000

It seems the increases vary a lot through the properties and dates.

Several pricing points for a standard redemption where there used to be one?

IME there were plenty of hotels that had a standard redemption that changed depending on demand.

I always just divide the points by 200 and compare with the price in US$, sometimes points are a good deal other times its not, even for the same hotel.
