Is the Virgin offer a one-year only offer or renewable?

In theory it is a 6 month offer and if 4 stays completed in that time then it extends to a 12 month offer.

But the dates can be extended slightly depending on when one requests the status match etc etc. I have had mine since September 2011 and it expires in February 2013 while others have requested status match recently and is valid until February 2014.

Hi vitagen, sorry we missed you last night......it must have only been by minutes as we left the lounge about 7. I did keep my eyes open for you at breakfast (assuming your avatar pic is in fact you) but we were there in the dying moments at about 10.

Hey no worries the lounge was very good. As a gold I feel quite spoilt! HSW will be my hotel of choice in Mel from now on.

I think John means the "Status Grant" that Velocity Status can provide for HHonors members.

OT: I believe you can still request a status match from Velocity, but you have to make a case ... it's no longer "automatic".

It does not hurt to put in a request for a status match. You won't know the answer unless you try.
