Last week I tried to enrol in the MVP programme, however I got a message
We're sorry. This promotion is now over.

When I logged into the MVP Family website to get Welcome back to the MVP program, JessicaTam

Does this mean that I am enrolled or not?

Is there an alternate 'fast-track' offering by HHilton?

For the MVP rate just do your bookings via this link:

Hilton Family MVP

There's a link on that page for fast track. Is that the one that you used?

I had the same experience.."promo finished" --------->Log in and "welcome to MVP"
So while waiting for a reply to my email query I tried a booking. Managed to get an MVP rate which was cheaper than the Any Weekend Anywhere rate, but without the extra stay credit and facebook points :(
BUT with flexibility :)

Orlando Hampton Inn Closest to Universal Studios here we come

Interestingly the rate description says "special rate, subject to availability, must be requested, do not offer". I might be on to something here. Newby excitement ;)
Thanks as always to everyone here who contributes to my knowledge base

Dear Newk

well the link goes to website unrelated to the enquiry as far as I can see. And I still cannot convincingly enrol in any browser. I get the same "promotion is over" message''

off to bombard Hilton with emails until I get a sensible answer

I just had a look and I can access the MVP rates as well but I have never applied for it.

Seems these rates are valid to all HH members, but it's the gold fast track promo that's been finalised (if indeed it has, the web page is certainly still there).

BTW, what does MVP stand for?

So it sounds like it is still going. Thanks for doing the legwork; I will start bombarding them as well!

I stayed in a hilton in December with an MVP rate but the points posted as "0". Unsuccessful so far at getting a response to email and "report a missing stay" via the website. I thought MVPs stays gave points, but is this not the case?

The Hilton Promo brochure states points and stays are accrued.

Earlier this month I had stays at Hilton Suites Chicago and Embassy Suites LAX using the MVP rate and points have posted for both :)

LOL be careful what you ask for. I emailed [email protected] asking how I could enrol on the web in the gold or diamond fast track. They reminded me I was gold (duh) already and after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing I was offered a diamond challenge from today. But I want to do it starting April 2 (on the web page, if it worked I could nominate a starting day) ARRRGGGHHH.

Back to the drawing board. My evil plan is to be diamond for a stay at The Grand Wailea next January. Oh well gold might have to do

C'mon......don't tease. What's the challenge?

"Thank you for your reply.

We are happy to extend a special one-time offer to fast track to Diamond tier level. If within the next 90 days, from today's date, you record 21 eligible nights at any participating HHonors hotel, your account will be automatically upgraded to the Diamond tier status through March 31, 2015.

If there is anything else we can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact us. For immediate assistance, please click on the link below for the contact number of the Hilton Worldwide Service Center location nearest you."

I replied that I wanted to start on another date as the website allows/allowed. They said I should contact them then :)
wish me luck
It would be good and a bit later this year I should be able to 21 nights in 90 days

Yes, I can understand your comment about being careful what you wish for.

As this is diverting a bit from the thread topic, I'll contiue the discussion over on the HH challange thread if you don't mind.

oohh, no problems. My apologies. I didn't know there was one. see you there

edit to add: but I do see that the original post asked about fast tracking :)

Hi Newk. I certainly didn't mean to chastise you. Far from it in fact and you are right, this thread was referencing a fast track. The only reason I suggested the other one is that it's particularly discussing the challange you received (or very similar) for us here in Oz, whereas the MVP fast track was an ongoing deal relating to (primarily) sports travel within Nth America.

I have sent off my request to be enrolled in the MVP program. Now just to wait for the reply. I am not keen on receiving a diamond challenge as I don't have the ability to complete 21 stays in the next three months.

FWIW, I believe that the MVP program can be completed with stays in AU.

Hi Jessica, great to meet you at HSW before Christmas!

Good luck with your MVP quest. It will be good to know if it's still going or canned!

Do you know people who have qualified with AU stays? I was reading the application as US stays only........

Offer valid at all U.S. Hilton®, Doubletree®, Embassy Suites Hotels® and Hilton Garden Inn® hotels and at select U.S. Hilton Grand Vacations Club® locations, Hampton Inn® and Hampton Inn & Suites® hotels.
