OLCI I got the room booked. Upon arriving at the hotel we were given a level 42 King Suite.
Shrek arrived at the hotel long before me and didn't even mention upgrades to the front desk (he always assumes I book the big rooms  )
And here I was thinking your heritage tended to make spendthrift decisions! Thanks for that clarification! So even with OLCI, it rests with the powers that be! Even so, a King Suite is a prize to be marvelled at! How's HSW going ;)

The King suites We've had didn't have the bath like that. It was instead on a raised alcove style. Obviously there are different King suite styles!

I know the style you mean. That's the King Suite I usually end up with (one with the bath in an alcove). The style and decor of the suite we had on Sat was completely different to that.

EDIT: I just had a bit of a look on the Hilton Website and the room type we had was the Master King Suite. It goes for $2.8K per night  :!:

I guess I won't be getting that upgrade very often

Now that's a score! Well done.
