HKG assisted transit

CX110 arrived in HKG a bit late with a short connection to CX542. I had worked out the quickest transit when the connecting gate info came up on the IFE.

Got off the plane to find CX staff waiting for 542 connecting pax, they gave us stickers and had us wait for other pax.

The connection was so easy I could have been in departures before the group left the arrival gate.

I never worry about short connections in HKG, 100% guaranteed there will be staff waiting to guide you if the inbound flight is late.

Oh I also had a short connection to CX542 arriving in HKG on CX134 a few years ago and made it but no time for the F lounge

If I hadn't waited for the group to form and get lead off to transfer screening, I could have had 10-20 mins in The Pier F.
