Have enjoyed two family holidays at The Nam Hai (2008 & 2010) and had the best time. It's now a Four Seasons property ..... which means it's probably even better.

Can you give an idea of what you’re looking for & budget?

been almost 10 years since I went with 2 mates so am sure the town itself has changed.

Would be with the wife and ~2y.o., so good resort facilities most important (pool/kids club/ decent dining), with easy availability to head into town should desire.

honestly was considering whether it would be worthwhile picking up say 2 of the luxury escapes/ last minute type deals and doing a back to back for some R&R.

We stayed at Fusion Maia in Danang in early 2012. Enjoyable stay, inclusive spa treatments. We were only there a few nights so didn't leave the resort so not sure if there is much else near by. My sense at the time was that there was just a row of resorts along the beach and you would need a taxi to get anywhere. Was BC when we went so not sure how child friendly but I would guess your little one is probably too young for kids club anyway.?

On our last visit there being Accor members we chose the Pullman Da Nang for 2 nights and the Banyan Tree Lang Co for 3 nights. Both were excellent, the BT was quite a bit more expensive but it was for a special occasion and was more secluded. The BT shares the property with its sister hotel the Angsana but is separated by a man made canal. The Ansagna looked really nice as well but appeared to be more of a family resort.
I’d definitely return to both if I get back to that neck of the woods
