Hey everyone,

I've put a fare on hold and forgot to book it.

Perhaps 30 minutes after the hold expired, the fare was gone (not on hold and not online).

Do you know how long it takes for the fare to go back to being available online after I didn't book it?

Thanks

If the fare is going to go back to inventory then it will probably happen within a couple of minutes. However, just like cancelled award seats, they may not be returned at all.

I had a hold booking which I just missed ticketing today before the hold expired (didn't calculate the time difference between Central European Time and CST for Darwin). It was back in the award bucket and available for me to book when I looked about two hours later - QF10 LHR-MEL & a BA flight to LHR also. Was able to put it on hold again, then ring up, add another sector (MEL-WLG in Y) and ticket it.
