Holiday home for hounds

Which dog has gone for a holiday? Not poor Miss D?

Oh dear what a mess. Did your mother not realise what it was she was emailed?

No, mums dog. She's in a kennel while mum is away. Our two are much happier and more relaxed without the other dog around. And my friend picks them up at the end of the week so they'll have a nice break and play time with her Kelpie.

Hope pup's tail is OK and that the house is looking better. Nothing like a bit of unexpected cleaning
yes poor darling - her tail was shaved and the cut glued together and she was doped to the eyeballs :). I hate cleaning, expected or otherwise :( Fortunately we have tiles and the walls cleaned very well (and the fridge and the washing machine). Curtains are looking a bit sad - attacked with cold water and bicarb, but will need to look in the good light tomorrow and see - might be a trip to the dry cleaners :).

this is the brother who managed to get blood splattered across his nose :)

Good to hear your two have been able to have a bit of stress-free time BC and I'm sure they will just love their holiday at your friend's place.

Well it all went a bit pear-shaped while we were away. Lola escaped, was dropped at a local vet and then collected by a ranger. Being OS we didnt get the call so my friend had to hunt her down, and we came home to a council "dog at large" fine (over $200 on top of the release fee ) . So Lola got dropped home while Daisy stayed on holidays. Lola is still her miserable self, hiding in the bedroom and generally looking unhappy. Daisy is the happiest dog ever with a constant wagging tail and insatiable appetite.

Poor Lola. She must have been very stressed. Hopefully the house build will proceed smoothly and the hounds will have their own proper home again.

They are gorgeous looking gals :)

Getting them both to sit still and near each other for a photo was fun....
