So 390 cows @ 500kg each say. That's 195 tonnes. Airliners.net lists empty weights of about 180 tonnes for the 747-400 and MTOW of 380 to 400 tonnes. I'm kinds of dubious of this story, just not sure that many cows could fit. :?:
 
I think the number got doubled somewhere. The references to cows being air freighted out of the US on Korean Air are usually in the range of 195 - 200 cows.

Looks like they counted the legs and only divided by 2 instead of four. Could've happened to anybody.
