Frankly the only reason to visit this lounges is if you too much time and nothing better to do. Ah and the caramel cheesecake, gotta have the caramel cheesecake, it’s sooo good! Apart from that it’s a nice specious lounge but the drinks are cheap and food is meh.

Used to like coming here pre-Covid as P1 to receive the royal treatment, sit down for a while and go to have dinner at The Pier, which is exactly what I did today.
Fab report
I assume there was a typo but maybe not..

The Wing First looks amazingly spruce and crisp. Has it had a refurb, do you know? Last time I was there was about 2012.

Can’t remember how it looked back in 2012 but everything there looked familiar, don’t recall a recent refurb.

The Pier First I think is absolutely the best FC lounge in the world of the many I have been in.

Probably the best F lounge that allows access to status pax regardless the class of travel. I’d say LH FCT is the most impressive I’ve been to so far.

Some pics from my stay at the Novotel CityGate in 2018. My comments on the arrival debacle is at the end of 2 posts above that. I arrived at the bus point at 11:40, so later than I mentioned earlier. Ignore the comments on the link - it'll go to my stay at CityGate.

Great report, love the photos and very helpful! I’ve got a 7 hour layover in HK this Tuesday (CX417 from Seoul and then QF30). Does the Wing First have somewhere to have a “Power Nap” or is it better to head to Pier First? Thanks in advance!

You could in the cabana suites, but I think the sleep options at the pier are superior.
