I registered my passport (still valid for a few years) for HKI e-channel immigration control a few years before covid. Has anyone used an "older" registration recently in HK?

Like @RealtimeY 's anecdote, I used my "frequent traveller" passport (registered 2018) both inbound and outbound two months ago.

I registered mine before covid and have used it twice earlier this year in HK
