Hotel Benefit on re qualification as VA WP (WP -> SG -> WP)

Hi All,

Quick question, when I reclaim the WP status with VA does it not reset the hotel benefit. I can not select the HHonor status, it states "You opted-in to the Diamond Elite tier of the Hilton HHonors™ program on 06 Sep 2014"

I requalified as WP earlier this month.

I recall reading that this is now a one off benefit and that you need to prequalify with the hotels directly as time moves forward.

Its only available a second time if you have dropped to a lower status then moved up again. Though your title suggests that you have dropped to gold and requallifed as platinum?

Hi blackcat, yes, I dropped to SG and then requalified. for some reason it seems to have been made one off...

Disappointing if that is the case, as Im currently silver and heading to gold....

In September I dropped to Silver for a couple of weeks and then back to Gold and the benefit appeared for me. This is the 3rd bite of the cherry.

P.S. don't need it for now as I was status matched Hilton Diamond until April 2017.
