Nasty. Take away bacon and cereals, and I imagine toast cause that causes cancer too, and coffee/tea (grown on sites that have been cleared of forest), and shampoo's that work, it won't be a place with happy people in the morning.

Is it really because of the "cancer causing reason/s" or is it because of the "other" unmentionable reason, which we all know but can't talk openly about?

Why oh why? Let the guests choose what they want to eat and if you don't like bacon and sausages then you are not forced to eat it.

Let the customers decide.....

Someone where I don't need to stay.

The ban is over bacon, sausages and other apparently unhealthy foods.

If it's issue of pork, Malaysia hotels for instance have sausages made of non-pork meats.

I suppose guests may choose to stay at hotels other than Choice Hotels group.

Grab one of these for breakfast!

Can't see why it's a big deal. Only a few nationalities eat bacon and sausage for breakfast anyway. I think it's a great idea.

Are alcoholic beverages served at breakfast at hotels? On airplanes, for sure.

Great Idea, although Mystic River wasn't too bad.
