Received this email yesterday. Anyone else receive this one or something similar in the past? Hilton, Priority Club or Gold Crown Club! Appears to be a reputable company but the statement about 'if you qualify for this study' is a little dodgy. Don't want to spend 1/2 hour doing questionnaire and then get nothing. Any thoughts?

Dear Traveller:

Chadwick Martin Bailey, an independent market research company, is conducting a study on behalf of a major hotel company. This is not a sales promotion--we just want your opinions on hotels and hotel frequent traveller programmes.

The questionnaire should take about 30 minutes to complete. If you get interrupted partway through, and wish to complete the questionnaire later, just re-enter the questionnaire link found in this email and you will resume where you left off.

We highly value your time and input. If you qualify for this study and complete the questionnaire by 23 November 2007 you will receive 3500 points or a $15 Fishpond.com Gift Certificate (Australian Dollars) from the hotel company that is sponsoring this study. The sponsor will be revealed to you upon completion of the questionnaire. All of your responses will be completely confidential and will not be associated with you in any way.

Thank you for your participation.

JohnK,

I've done the survey and it is tedious in places. Just depends upon whether you want 3500 HH points.

For 3500 HH points I think I can endure a tedious questionnaire....

If you visit the HH website at the moment, they're also doing surveys there. About 10 mins worth of questions on your feelings about Hilton and the website, but no reward.

I did one a couple of weeks ago and then a few days ago the same survey popped up on the PC website so this time I rejected it. It would be nice to be offered a token reward for taking the time to do the survey.

Sometimes PC do, sometimes they don't!

I just got a seconf invite for the survey. This worries me as I have already taken it. Maybe I won't get point if they have 'lost' my survey :(

I also got a second invite, but the survey was different, in that it went into specifics. Offered up another 3500 points so 7000 from doing 2 surveys aint all bad !

I have also received a second survey so 7,000 HH points should come in handy.

I also received a different survey, again for Hilton but from Buckingham research, for 500 HH points but the link goes to the Hilton Honours website instead. Had to be completed by today....

My second survey arrived at 7:56 AM Sat 1st Dec. I've just attempted to do the survey and got the following message:

"We're sorry, but we have already received the maximum allowable number of responses similar to your own. Thank you for your interest."

Don't leave it too long from getting the email to completing the survey. Though I wouldn't have thought that 2.5 days was too long.

The cutoff date is supposed to be 7 December so still 4 days to go.

Anyway I sent them an email asking how they know how I will respond and whether or not they have had too many responses like my own even though I did not have the opportunity to respond to the survey. Silly, childish, message....

I did the first but haven't had my 3500 points posted yet so really can't be bothered doing the second one.

Has anyone actually had points post from completing this survey?

I have had none....
