I got the email on 14 November, and I guess I filled it in the same day. Almost 7 weeks ago.

My points have now safely arrived (shame if I only qualified for the first survey!)

Yeah I did not bother to check until I looked at this thread.

PROGRAM PREFERENCES SURVEY INCENTIVE 3,500 HH points posted on the 3 Jan 08. Shame did not get to complete second survey due to incomplete link.

When I clicked on the second link was just told the quota had been filled. The second time I clicked on the link I got a message saying I had already been disqualified from the survey.

Not only that one but I was actually targetted for a second survey, by another company, a few days later and when I clicked on the link it redirected to the Hilton Honours website.

I sent email to Hilton and they acknowledged that there was an issue and could not fix the link in time but I was invited to call a number and register for the survey by phone. I could not be bothered and I am not sure how many HH points were offered for the second survey anyway....

For what it's worth...I work in the research industry and these types of member surveys are legitimate and very common practice these days. On-line research is slowly taking over as the dominant methodology used, the same way that telephone interviews replaced door-to-door interviewing in the 1990s.
