Hotel under renovation. Still book there?

If you found a hotel that had the amenities you want (guest laundry, microwave and fridge in rooms), but was under renovation and impacting other services, would you still book there?

I've found a hotel for my upcoming trip. It has what I want, but is being renovated ahead of changing brands (La Quinta Inn & Suites > Hilton Garden Inn).
Many of the recent reviews have been bad, mostly related to the renovation.
They are accepting bookings as a Hilton Garden Inn from 19 Jan. I'm looking for about 1.5 weeks before then.
There is a notice on the La Quinta site saying "undergo renovations until October 31, 2024", but the notice is still there.

I would email them just ask the question directly. Are your renovation still going on? If so when are they expected be completed.

But if there’s any doubt I wouldn’t book a hotel that’s undergoing renovations, especially with a brand change as the staff I think would be in a very different mind set.

Well @Himeno is that California? If so there are many choices in most locations. We used La Quinta and Ayres for our staff when we had a group going to the US and moving around California.

LAX.
I stayed at the La Quinta LAX in July last year.

I found another hotel for those dates nearby, but a bit more $$. 😅

Looking at St Louis now. My records don't go back far enough for where I stayed last time I was there (2012).

Around LAX we used to stay at either Marriott West Century or Embassy Suites North if we had our children. Both of these were ok.
