From my (limited) understanding there is 2 options for this card (Credit Card / Charge Card)

I was given the choice during my application and chose the Credit Card option

Well done shintaro.

Hopefully in it's reincarnation the new referral scheme, if it is reinstated, will allow referrals across all card groups so we won;t have to forgo the points when we refer someone. I have battled hard with different depts there so hopefully my voice has added to others for a more equitable result.

If you recall shintaro, you requested a referral from me. Due to a silly amex T&C they do not allow cross card referrals. I had to suggest you seek a referral from someone else....unfortunately.

Yes I do remember, sadly their system didn't allow you to refer me.... and I cant seem to remember who you referred me too...? Again, hopefully they also got some points...

You were lucky getting in when you did. The amex referral system has been curtailed for the time being. Hopefully they will bring it back and with less restrictive conditions.
