How do you share your travel adventures on social media?

A good chunk of my facebook friends are people I've met through travel, so they appreciate the photos etc...

Im a Facebook 'ho, I post about 3-6 pics every day when travelling.

good topic! I only post to FB if I think the pic is of somewhere beautiful or interesting or maybe less-frequently visited by people I know. I think I once posted from a lounge, but am careful not to now, it doesn't go down well or is a bit boring really. Hardly anyone knows when I fly J, and I told no-one about my first F flight (except here in a trip report). Flying in business class or being a platinum frequent flyer is not interesting or important to most people, so why bore them with it?

I have posted a trip report here and would again because I've loved reading about other people's journeys and it is one of the great features of AFF.

This is where Facebook groups are really quite good. I don't post 99% of my travel stuff on my own feed I keep it to an audience of similar tragics :D

Travelpod. Aussiepanda's Traveler Profile - TravelPod

When we are away I post daily sometimes, sometimes at the end of a visit to a specific destination. When I upload a post a notification goes to selected email contacts and a link is also posted on facebook.

I used Travelpod for my last trip too. I did post some other bits on Facebook, but they were more of a specific incident or observation at a point in time, and the blog reserved for a full description and photos. I posted the link to FB each time I uploaded, then my friends could choose to read or not.

I decided to use a blog so those without FB (mainly my parents) could also see what we were up to, and it allowed me to write more than I usually would. It's also a good record for years to come.
