Booked this weekend stay as a retreat from work and must say I was impressed by the resort. If you're looking for simple accommodation, then probably this isn't the hotel for you in terms of price. But if you're looking for a place to get away with plenty of activities to do (i.e. swimming, volleyball, games room, etc.) it can be quite good indeed. The resort is unique in the sense that there is a lagoon that is sort of the centrepiece of the resort with more expensive bungalows on the lagoon and yours truly's accommodation located on land. As noted earlier in the thread, there are a number of activities planned at the resort, which can be helpful if you got little ones in tow. In addition, a quick browse of the resort map lists a number of points of interest to look into.
The hotel itself has a restaurant/bar with a patio called Sola (Accor+ discounts accepted there). Breakfast is served in a buffet located inside the restaurant (wide selection of food items, I'd say it's comparable to the Fairmont Blue Mountains Resort). Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10 and final service for dinner is 10 on Thursdays - Saturdays and 9:30 PM other times (so far as I can tell). Here's a little tip: if you ask the bar for sparking water with lime, it's free. There is also a coffee shop/convenience store (forget the name) that is located at the resort and they're open til 3 PM IIRC.
Aside from the activities, I was also impressed by the welcome gift which included a nice little appetizer platter in addition to the expected bottle of wine. If there is one thing I can fault the hotel for, it would be the placement of electrical outlets in the room. In particular, the ones near the desk are located at floor level, meaning if you have a MacBook with a fat charger block, you won't be able to plug in your laptop to charge. Instead, you must take your MacBook over to where the kettle is located, unplug the kettle and charge the MacBook from there (which obviously makes it hard to work on your MacBook versus using the table provided.
