How long should a refund take ?

I cancelled a QF Award a week ago and am due a refund of points and $. Anyone have experience of how long this takes ?

What sort of award, I have had a variety of JASA refunds that when from instant to 8 weeks in duration.

How long it "should" take and how long it actually takes are likely to differ somewhat.

I've been chasing up an award refund for weeks now. And now it looks like a refund has gone through for the wrong amount. Will be having to make more calls tomorrow, it seems.

$ came back inside 10 days but no points. Rang today and there was some problem that got sorted. Moral of the story is don't just wait and wait. Also QF phone service today (twice) was first class.

Should not take that long. I hope you have received the refund by now.

I cancelled a classic award a few years back and the QFF points were reinstated almost immediately and the taxes and surcharges were credited about a week later.
