How Long To Get Through Security At LAX ?

Hi all ,
Will be on QF 94 next Friday night out of LAX at 11.30 pm .
How early should i get to the airport beforehand ??
And how busy is that flight by the way as i have requested an upgrade to J .
It is a long way in Y !!!!

Do you have any QF status? PS and above can usually use the express lanes.

No , unfortunately no status yet only Bronze !!

TBIT security around 9pm is generally reasonably light in my experience - but I do have priority line access.

I went thru LAX a month or so ago and no issues at night getting on QF94 - airport not too busy. A whole different matter arriving at LAX on QF93 in the morning at 6.30am !! Multiple planes arriving and minimal customs staff working until 7am. Even J passengers waited an hour for the non US citizen lines to be processed. Only hint would be to head to the far end of the customs hall or join the US citizen line and feign ignorance. Both save 30 minutes wait.
