Hmm... shame it's not a Skybed. ;)

TBH, actually looks more like a Dreamtime seat - can't help but be reluctant when the photo doesn't match the description.

Surely you’d need to connect that up to an appropriate power source to get all the features working. I wonder if you could get an a/v signal into the screen too :D

But have to agree, would much prefer a Skybed :p

There was an inflight trolley on ebay not too long back, wanted around
$700 for it. Nice mothers day present to go with your seat.

Well no chance that I'll bid on it.

Not only will the folks go nuts if I bring it home (where will I put it?), but I don't live in MEL.

I'd love to see you try and take it as your carry-on!

From QF's website:

Bulky Items
Items such as diplomatic or courier bags, musical instruments, artworks or technical equipment that exceed the above limits may be accepted at the discretion of the airline but arrangements must be made at least two days before you travel. You may need to purchase an extra seat.

:rolleyes: :lol: :mrgreen: :D :p I'll let you work that one out....and have a chuckle.

Can't see this. A dreamtime seat is a business class seat.

One needs an 110v converta I believe.

Very good anat0l....:mrgreen: (where's that Thumbs up smiley??)

"Buy an extra seat? But............"

So somewhere in the QF fleet now lurks a 763 boasting a 24/204 configuration? :)

Hey Anat01, wasn't your 5A was it? ;)

Do they throw in an engineer with it to fix it when it breaks? :rolleyes:

Let's see who ends up winning and gets to "sit back, relax and enjoy the friendly service". :p

Cheers

Oz

I don't think I will bid on it. Who wants a seat in their loungeroom, where:
  • you're not allowed to recline for the first and last 10 minutes of each time you sit in it;
  • the tv won't turn on straight away;
  • when it does turn on, it shows:
    • a safety demonstration,
    • 10 minutes of boring commercials;
    • 7 minutes of Deborah Hutton; and then
    • endless reruns of two and a half men.
:lol:

That's cheap, If you look in Lufthansa's on board shopping catalog they have the trolleys for sale at around 900 Euro.

Worse,
  • it pauses every time someone tries to talk to you, even if you dont want to listen.
  • Someone comes along and reclines into the remaining space in front of you.
  • needs a reboot halfway thru the movie
  • The call button never gets answered....
:lol:

I'd pay a fee to have the Deborah Hutton part removed from anything I watched.
