Problem if QF introduced priority boarding is the sheer numbers of CL,WP and SG on some flights. I have had SG colleagues in Row 40-something on SYD-MEL 767s. There would still be a queue at the priority line.

I often thought of this too. Slightly OT, but does anyone know how many Gold/Platinum members there are in the Q and how many Gold members there are in DJ?

The thing is they do have it on some widebody flights - it is only for WP and J passengers though which keeps the numbers smaller. If they did it like AA though it might still be manageable even with SG members - maybe AA don't have as many elite flyers percentage wise versus QF though, but all you have to do is board only the priority queue until it is empty, then the general queue, stopping only when someone turns up to the priority queue again. They usually have 2 people scanning BPs anyway, so quite easy to do.
