Following on from the Accor thread - Novotel BKK leaving Accor Jan 31st

Pleasantly surprised to learn that the new 5-star Hyatt Regency BKK airport is a category 2 😀

That’s anywhere from 6,500 (off-peak), 8,000 (Std) to 9,500 (peak) for the base room. Club rooms are 10,500, 12,000 and 13,500 respectively. The real bargain could be the Junior suites which include club access which are priced at 11,500, 13,000 and 14,500 respectively.

I assume the property will vary the rates dynamically according to demand as opposed to seasonality and peak or non-peak periods.

Another welcome addition to the Hyatt brand.

Also good to see that they are keeping the checkout 24 hours from check-in feature.

Had some great stays there but needs a big refurbishment. Will be interested to see what is done in the makeover
I don’t believe there is a refurbishment or makeover planned. All we know is that they’ve left Accor and are now with Hyatt. Perhaps the Regency brand and Hyatt is more lenient and will allow them to leave it as is for some time.

This property is now accepting reservations on Hyatt.com. Cash prices seem to be similar to those before the rebranding.

Awards are set at 8K base, 12K Club, and 13K Premier (not Jnr.) Suite which also includes Club.

I can’t imagine Accor for all having higher standards than Hyatt tbh. But we will see- this property was getting really rotten last time we’ve stayed there so I’d really hope Hyatt gives it some TLC.
