Hi,

I am thinking of booking a 7 night stay at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo (shinjuku area) for late December. With the AUD doing so well against the Yen right now, I was wondering if there is anyway to pay for the booking now in yen, rather than upon checkout. I have thought about just changing the 2000 in cash to 'lock-in' the rate but wonder if you guys have any ideas.

Also, has anyone stayed here before or do you think I should look at somewhere else in the same area?

Thanks,

Jon

Normally if you book on a non-flex rate, it will charge you straight away.

If you require flexibility on the booking, I would suggest calling the hotel once the booking has been made and asking them if you could make payment and settle the account now; however they may hesitate on this as they would then have to provide a refund if you cancel the room.....
