Heh. I'll admit re-reading it it came out weirder then it was attended.

However everytime I saw her, it was like a cow chewing cud

That sounds better......:-0

I thought the little wrong bit was a reference to a youngish (!) FA on AA!

I had an FA on AA (Eagle flight) from LAX-SAN who was under 35!
(I think ... not sure with some Californians)

My understanding is that advanced plastic surgery in the USA can work miracles! :p

Nope that was an AAbot the new wageless FA android that is being trialled. But fair play to you some of the FA's have more plastic than a commodore so easily mixed up.

I don't care about the gender or age of the Flight Attendants, love the free baggage though if you have status with oneworld.
Recently returned from a trip to the US, our bags were over the 50lb (23kg) limit, no problems.
Checked out the Admirals lounge in Dallas, only after showing our passports, boarding passes and qantas card, had the birth certificate ready just in case.

What's the go with all these dogs travelling on US flights, met one in the Dallas lounge, saluted with my beer (voucher and tip) and got a couple of barks back.
Also amazed at the amount of carry on which is allowed, okay if you can carry it your in.

Only other lounge we visited was La Guardia, no third degree there.

Then to top it off, the AC dragon refused to allow us access to the Flagship lounge in T4 at LAX "as I am entitled to only one guest" as a Platinum and all of us flying in J, I said that as Jnr was only 3, and there had been no problem on Saturday when we flew to Las Vegas, I thought that was tough. Anyway I know thems is the rules and we have to abide by them, but I can really see why so many people hate AA.

I had this exact same experience at T4 in LAX a few years ago, except my daughter was only 6 months old at the time. As I'd simply presented my own boarding pass and WP card they had decided my wife was there as my guest and my daughter therefore wouldn't be allowed access to the Flagship Lounge with us.

Thankfully when I presented my daughter's F boarding pass from the SYD-LAX leg the lounge dragons relented, but it seemed strange that they wanted to treat a 6 month old as an adult for the purposes of lounge guest entitlements.
