Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum but i've been a frequent and interested reader for a while so I thought I'd join and acquire some more knowledge. Recently my wife bought a discounted one-way business class ticket online for KUL-ADL. According to the fare rules when it was purchased it was eligible for enrich miles at 150%. Upon arrival home we checked her enrich account and it said "fare paid- not eligible" for that flight. When I checked the class codes on Malaysia Airlines website it said "I" class was a non-accruable flight and that was the class which was on her e-ticket. Just wondered if someone might be able to clear up my confusion. First of all, the fare condition at the time of sale stated that the flight she paid for was eligible for 150% miles, there was nothing in the terms and conditions which stated that this was a non-accuable fare. Is there anyway I could have checked this before it was bought, given that it was bought online? My other reason for confusion is even the lowest promo fares in economy which I have bought with MH have accrued miles (even if only 30%) so why when paying for a business class flight, even on a promo fare would this be a 'non accrual' fare? Is this something I should clarify with MH or is it just my own naivety that her heavily discounted flight should still earn miles.

Thanks for your help!
