No worries, happy to help. Another tip for when you're paying by card when you're overseas: Some merchants will offer to bill you in your own currency (ie; AUD), using a thing called DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion). Always decline, and ask to be billed in the local currency. Some won't even ask, so be vigilant.

DCC is yet another ripoff.

Sorry one more, how can I find if Cathy Pacific charge a currency conversion fee? I can't find the answer anywhere!

They offer dcc..always pick the local currency of the itinerary origin to avoid the poor rate
