I don't know the answer to most Qantas "security" questions!

When I logon to the Qantas website, I get this:

So I click the link but it doesn't tell me anything.

I assume it's my missing Security questions?

I had that message pop up earlier this year. The fix was ultimately to remove all my contact details and add them back in. It was preventing me registering for the DSC offer at the time.

Get an old mobile phone, that you have taken the sim out of, or a PDA if you still have that, device I mean, and put all your passwords and codes and Q & A onto that.
That is what I use at home.

They have those stringy things now on ebay, that you can tether mobile phones to, as the newer smart phones now don't have a lanyard hole, so you can't keep it safe on you, unless you use a mobile phone pouch with a long lanyard.

I'm heading toward my late ish 60's and I can still remember the name & number of the street I grew up in, I know the name of the MIL and I still look at the last 5 numbers of my drivers licence.
Plus my computer remembers my details for automatic insertion

No way to avoid it.
but it can be anything, it does not have to make sense, ie, the answers.
After set up, most of the time, the system will just send that 6 digit code to your mobile phone to log into your QFF account.
They can also lock your account, if they feel that something untoward has happened, sometimes too, they will lock your account for no apparent reason.
But do write down the answers to the questions somewhere tho, its a pain in the **se to reset.
If you have forgotten the answer to the 3 questions, you will have to phone up the QFF centre where ever it is now, and pass the security test verbal questions.
Touch wood, I haven't as yet been locked out, or anything happen as yet.
My QFF bal is purposely low, I keep it under 5k most of the time, so the(y) ie scammers can't make use of any points I have.

Your answers don’t have to be true you know. They don’t know the answers. So do what I do and just put the same text in there for all that your remember, so something like “it’s all mine” or ”the answer is yes” .

Exactly what I did. Obvious and simple way around the issue and I’m 70+

I set this up and everytime i logged in i would forget. I quickly chose any questions and the answers were unrelated to the question such as
What is your ??? - Answer : I
Who is your ??? - Answer : am
Where is ??? - Answer: Peter

Everytime you log into a new browser, the questions are ALWAYS in order so you can safely make any phrase, saying, number combination and it will always work. Nice tip and secure to

You don't have to put your real DL # in there.
It could be 98875.
South Aust driving licence # has an alpha and then 5 digits.

This is what I use to make sure I don't loose the mobile phone.
Not the charger but the rope thing.
If your device carks it, you can download app onto new device.

Granted, tho, hmm, QFF will still need to send the 6 digit 2fa to your carkek it mobile.
Maybe in that case, you have to pray/or muse about it, say "omm", and then phone up the QFF service "center".

They're a rubbish form of questioning. I've been know to simply use the same pass phrase for each, and the system was stupid enough to let me.
