Next I will be hearing that real coke with a scoop of ice-cream makes a good mixer.
What flavour ice cream do you recommend? But I can't test it out right now as I only have drinkable scotch in this house :p .

Perhaps you could bring your own ice cream to test it out flying out of LAX TBIT? Oh wait, is ice cream a liquid in terms of the liquid ban? Does the answer depend on how long you've been waiting at check in and security, and how well insulated you store it?

Almost anything is a liquid at some temperature and/or pressure  .

Perhaps I will try it out at HKG where both QF and CX lounges have ice cream available.

A good scotch should never be mixed with anything but ice or water, but my wife and I have developed a peccadillo for scotch and Diet Co*e with vanilla. I get the soft drink free at work so splash out $25 per bottle for White Heather, but in all honesty the brand of scotch hardly matters.

Try it .... you may get hooked!
And not only because of the flavour! Assuming you all saw this?

Speaking of mixing with ice cream has anyone tried the new Bailey’s flavours apparently the Mint one goes particularly well. I have long been looking for a good substitute for ice magic!

I have tried the Caramel and it was great. Looking forward to testing the mint flavour very soon.

Loved the Caramel one, the mint one was not to my liking.
For a flavouring try Casis....over here you can get liquor flavoured toppings, Prenzels....I will not post a link because that could be against the forum rules I blindly agreed to....;)

What are the options for being slightly drunk on a JQ flight (aside from the obvious QP visit)?
Anything that dulls the pain of a long flight, so maybe I should order a few diet colas and mix with scotch.

If only we could BYO liquor!

Or Schweppes Cola. Same scam, different brand :)

LOL Schweppes Cola was discontinued YEARS ago in Australia!! If a dispenser says Schweppes Cola it is about 10 years old and will be Pepsi Cola coming out not Schweppes.
