I emailed QF about the double SC offer. Mentioning that it was not exactly equitable for people who are increasing their amount of flying. Apparently, the offer is only for people who have attained status levels and are having trouble retaining. They didn't seem concerned about giving all FFP members an incentive to keep flying with QF. Looks liek I'll have to reconsider my trip to Europe in August

As i think i stated in the double SC thread, they could have not looked at forward booking else they would have seen i would have earned my SC easily for WP again, i was 480 short and i had booked a J class return to AKL from MEL, and a SYD-JFK in F !! let alone all the other bookings i held in Y and other F segments in USA & Europe. All very odd, but i guess its the same as the Amex 5/5k promo etc, why was i not targeted ? :( such is life, i got over it.

Ohh, I'm well over it. Just eye opening to realise how much QF value my meagre, but increasing, business. Compared to others who are flying less and could have switched to the competition because of cost.

c'est la vie.

I could have used this late last year when dropping to Gold. Now they say I'm not eligible. :(
