I was always going to have paper copies as well because technology fails.

My trip has no testing requirements so pretty simple anyway.

So, did the IATA Travel Pass ever actually become a thing? I still haven't seen a real use for it.

I never used it, just uninstalled it yesterday in fact!

TBH, I’m not sure what use case(s) the app was trying to solve? The airline backend systems appear to have benefited from the work IATA and airlines undertook (some airlines allow you to upload your Covid cert, others scan at checkin and I got the impression some others just sight it and tick a box).

With airlines and countries dropping vax requirements, I guess the app will be pulled in due course?
