I have an internal flight to make in Spain.

In the past I have used Iberia's discount carrier Vueling, who were quite good.
But they don't fly the sector I need anymore.

Looks like Iberia Express is the main (only) option.

So I just wondered if the extra cost was worth it to sit up front, get a meal and a few other perks.
The seats look the same, just the middle one is blocked off.

$199 v $30 LOL

I'd just prefer a bit more room really.

How long is the flight?

Mmm I’d be going the cheaper option but YMMV

I would say no. Iberia business service is not that special ( think Jetstar). For 1 hr 15 min I would slum it in economy and spend extra $40 for a nice meal and wine at a tapas bar and pocket the rest.

The legroom on Iberia Express is the same in Y or J - seriously awful - unless you're in row 1 (bulkhead) or an exit row.

I'd book Y and pay for an exit row seat.

(I'm not kidding about the legroom on Iberia Express. It's the worst I've experienced on any airline, and yes I've flown Jetstar, Ryanair, Wizz Air, etc...)

I guess I'm just being a bit paranoid in these 'interesting times' and seeking whatever extra personal space I can.
Hard in an aircraft of course :rolleyes:
