I have a feeling I will be cutting it close on my flight from EZE > MAD tonight. I have a flight with Aerolineas Argentina which goes to AEP (delayed 2 hours now it is supposed to land at 19:30), then I need to get a taxi to EZE for my flight with Iberia at 22:40 (hoping it is delayed). When I try to check in it tells me "Due to the current situation of your trips in connection, it is not possible to offer you the check-in services of iberia.com. [ACO516]"

I believe this is because the first leg of my journey is with Aerolineas and not Iberia? I want to check in to help save time when I get to EZE.. Is there anything else I can do so I can check in and maximise my chances of making my flight? Got a feeling it will be chaos with immigration as well... Fingers crossed.

Should have trusted my first instinct and got the bus to Buenos Aires.. After constantly checking for updates which tell me the plane is delayed 2 hours I arrive at the airport and find out it is cancelled... Great work by Aerolineas mentioning this fact 10 minutes before scheduled departure. Not only that, their website stated the flight was not cancelled, just delayed - and the flight status website said it was only delayed and not cancelled. So back home, going to get the bus tonight and change my flight out of EZE to tomorrow afternoon (I have given up on ever flying out of my city).

More incompetence from Aerolineas Argentina, but I didn't expect anything different. It's very frustrating seeing their advertisements boasting about new destinations when they can't even properly execute the ones they have now. Anyone who has been to Aeroparque (AEP) will know what I mean. I feel sorry for the folks stuck at the airport, from what I was being told Aerolineas were refusing to offer taxi vouchers or accommodation to those stranded. Basically they would have to pay for it all themselves then contact Aerolineas at a later date to try recoup some money. Absolute mess.
