I was wondering if I should get some cheap shoe spikes for just in case so many thanks. I guess I can always leave there/donate if its too much stuff. As Im preparing for the worse, I was wondering if there is a shelter we could donate some stuff before we leave (like fleece pants and snow pants).

Gosh, $175USD for a pair of socks, think I will stick to the Possum $50 pairs
Denali see pm.

Every month or so I buy cold weather clothing and today got hubby to try it on for sizing, and really happy.

Thick fleece lined wet weather outdoor pants for about $25 fit well with thermals underneath and rain pants over them but found out his belt doesnt fit in the pants loops - good to know now and not when getting dress to got out into Iceland at night.

So except for socks, I think we're set for clothing/preparing for the worse. Already had merino tops, thermals, gortex jacket and boots so most expensive thing in preparation was the photographer gloves.

The April calendar opened up so committed us to the Spa Retreat instead of the larger Blue Lagoon.

We can access the Blue Lagoon but the Retreat is smaller, quite and I dont have to share a shower with a couple of hundred randoms.

Amsterdam: Visit the Hague and Delft Blue pottery or not?

We did both when we are in Amsterdam - The Hague was excellent, and the Delft pottery was interesting cause I like blue pottery, it was not as large as I thought it would be :)

Thinking of getting a overpriced Christmas decoration from Delft pottery as well
