Now, that is what I would call the experience of a lifetime!
So clear that I walked into it without seeing it, if you look at the bottom railing you can see some green algae/water level which is where the water is but even looking at the steps l walked right into the waterI can't believe how clear the water is
Didn't go any deeper than 16 metres, they take a lot of nupties who rarely drysuit dive so keep them shallow. So good. Very jealous! That viz, wow.
How deep was the dive?
FB hand didn't come out of the bag. I think when he realised the cold, equip and gloves he better focus on diving properly and enjoying himself. Those photos are absolutely mind blowing. The water was so clear and the whole thing of being between the two plates was incredible. I didn't see the Facebook hand in any of MrD's photos. Did he decide to dispense with it?
Nothing wrong with a Nanna nap.
Looking forward to your adventures in the south.
Walked past it twice yesterday but still not enjoyed its offering so hopefully when we get back as the scrolls look amazingTime to warm up now with a coffee and the world's best cinnamon scroll at Braud's Bakery, just down the hill from Hallgrimskirkja.
Yes. Today a stranger we met on the internet will pick us up for two days down the coast.Denali, you guys put so much prep into this experience and it has obviously been wonderful with terrific photos, thanks for sharing. I only looked down into the rift and now I see what’s down there.
Next, black sand beach and glacial lakes?
