I love F1 but I wouldnt fly economy to the UK for anyone. I have entered but would decline a whY flight to the UK.

If I won, I would fly whatever class. Ok, I may need some recovery time if in Y, but I'd still go.

Normally with competitions with travel prizes you will get spending money as well, how tight is QF!

I would asume that QF by way of two Paddock Club Corporate Hospitality tickets thinks that is all they need to provide
I also would be happy just to get a free flight over as my son is on a long! holiday and it would save me the airfare in the latter half of the year

PC tickets in Melbourne cost >$4000 3 years ago. Not sure about this year.

Red Bull Racing has just finished its pre-season testing, and the car looks awfully fast.
That German kiddie in the other Bull might be a problem but if the thing is reliable, the worst-case scenario might be Business, lads!

Mark has never had much luck at his local event, and being the first race of the season often the luck plays more of a part than normal.

I dunno about that - his very first F1 race in 2002 at Melbourne. He managed to get a 5th place scoring his points in his first race and scoring the first points for Minardi since 1999. I'll admit he hasn't had much luck since then...

Only 8 cars completed the race. IIRC the winner had their first race win that day too??

Go Mark go!

I'd much rather be taking my winning trip in First, but I can probably survive slumming it in business :p

Yes, unless a couple of people crash i think we can safely assume Webber won't be winning it...

Its looking like Economy or Luggage Hold :) seats will be the prize, i hope the next set of tyres and pitt stop turns it back around and he starts moving forward again..

Economy it will be!
1 lap to go & he is 37 seconds (5th place) behind his team mate.

Pretty significant, he is a good driver, just not as consistent as Seb...

A free ticket is a free ticket - even in Y!

And if you don't want it, well....... prizes aren't transferrable, so we'd have a small problem there. :-|

Actually I would say Webber is more consistent - look at past results - he's finished a race more often prang free.

Today there was a strategy difference (tyres) - it paid off big time for the winner. Other factores may have contibuted, but that one represented at ~1 minute difference.
