I just bought 200,000 IHG points for $1,000 USD on their flash sale. Seems like a pretty good deal.

I just bought 200,000 IHG points for $1,000 USD on their flash sale. Seems like a pretty good deal.

It is a good deal if you have a view of how you can use in the short to mid term, less so on a speculative basis.

How did you manage to get "200k" in points ?

I thought the 'ceiling' for points purchase was 60k ( with another 60k as a 100% bonus when offered )

Maybe I should have signed up for Ambassador.... Pity the AUD has just tanked to the USD.... Is the pay with points option still available?

Yes you can still pay with points. From memory it’s 40k for a new application.
