Of all the HI brands, only a HIX is separate for this promo.

My post was based on the IHG insider posting on FT that a resort was not a separate brand, looking at the award badges I note there is a HI Resort Brand badge, I suspect that info may have been wrong and staying at a resort will be a brand when its Holiday Inn, will know next month.

I'm going to struggle to attain the "Win all over the world" requirement, but I will easily qualify for all of the others. Is anyone going to be staying in the Americas in one of these cities over the next three months? I need to stay at two of these. Perhaps we could work something out?

That was a tongue in cheek way of saying, I have absolutely no capability to finish any of my challenges. I've got the base challenges but have no intention of finishing them at all, as I simply don't actually stay at hotels that much lol.

The 98,000 points on offer were achievable and I had started switching bookings from HHonors this quarter to get them.

Just had a HI stay using a AAA rate post as non-qualifying. Thought I had checked all the terms and conditions thoroughly.

Back to HSW and their never ending HH promo opt-outs.

I can't comment on your experience, but I'm thinking there may be a few glitches.

I received an email last week notifying me of my progress. It correctly shows everything except my "book two separate stays through an IHG website" challange which it concludes I'm yet to start. The ICSC booking (which has posted) was certainly made through the website (but it was linked through from a PP newsletter link). Anyone else experienced this issue?

All quiet on this thread for a while.

How is everyone going with your respective targets? More to the point, is anyone getting incorrect point postings?

As I mentioned above, my "Book With Us" challange does not appear to be happening despite me directly booking 2 stays so far (one through the IC website and 1 through the CP website) although both of these were redirected to those respective sites from the PP newsletter link (both stays were PP specials).

Both stays have posted to my account (including the "Big Win" points) and the Big Win website shows ticks in all the challanges so far completed (except "Book With Us").

A further indication of website problems seems to be despite the "Big Win" points posting and showing under the "Account Activity" and the "Big Win" rewards tracker page showing the completed challanges (except "Book With Us"), the "My Offer Status" page of my account shows the "Big Win" as 0% complete and states no current activity for this offer.

I'm not overly concerned at this point, but I'm wondering if everyone else is seeing the same thing, especially the "Book With Us" challange? Has anyone achieved the "Book With Us"? I'd hate to get into December and find my direct bookings didn't count because of xyz and then lose 59000 points because of it.

What about the "Book With Us" requirement for this "Win Big" promo. Has that posted correctly or don't you have the challange as part of your terms?

Since I posted my last comment, I looked up my account, and forgot about another three HI ( single night ) stays ... they DID NOT post any points for Book Direct.

Given ALL my IHG bookings originate from the PP site, there doesn't seem to be any way of telling 'what will - what will not' trigger this promo ...

Asks me how many trips I have taken in the last 12 months, number of hospital night stays (!), and whether I have had outpatient surgery.
Next question referred to how many trips were for business, leisure and a mixture of two.
The next question is the stupidest:

Now, thinking about all of the X stays that you had in the past 12 months, how many stays fit each of the descriptions below?
A family trip with your spouse/partner and/or children, so you can bond as a family while seeking entertainment and leisure.
A relaxing escape with your spouse/partner, on which you can indulge yourselves with pampered treatment and excellent food and drinks.
A trip that allows you to focus on/prioritize the need to be healthy – in mind, body, and/or spirit – while connecting to the natural environment.

And zero is not acceptable as an answer...

I believe I got the same survey. Or rather, everyone got the same survey. Maybe.

Was -1 an acceptable answer?

Honestly, though, I entered 0 as an answer for most fields and it seemed not to kick a fuss.
